Why do you blog?
Blogging is addictive! I started reading
fashion blogs about 9 years ago, and then I met a girl at uni who ran a blog
which made the idea of starting my own seem so much more achievable. I started
my blog in December 2009 and haven’t stopped since then! Blogging is a comfort,
a space to share my thoughts, a place for creativity, and it offers an
opportunity to be part of the amazing blogging community. Blogging is
incredibly rewarding. I cherish every comment left, every email from readers I
receive, every outfit of mine that is pinned on Pinterest. I blog because I
love it. Not for free clothes or for opportunities to work with companies or to
get a thousand followers, but just because I enjoy it and it makes me happy.
And I personally think that is the best reason of all to blog!
What is your favourite book?
Ooh that’s a hard question to
ask someone with a literature degree! I’m surgically attached to my kindle! My
absolute favourite book is The Picture of
Dorian Gray (I wrote my English dissertation on it!) but my other
favourites include Invisible Monsters, Fight Club, American Psycho (which I
wrote my American Studies dissertation on), The Rules of Attraction, The
Godfather, Middlesex, We Need to Talk About Kevin, Junk, Trainspotting and The Perks of
Being a Wallflower. I am very active on Goodreads if you want to friend me over
there!
Favourite band?
Brand New have been my
favourite band since I was 15. I’ve basically had the same taste in music since
I was a teenager, and I’m not ashamed! My other favourite bands are Manchester
Orchestra, Ed Sheeran, Frank Turner, Fall out Boy, Matchbox Twenty and Taking Back Sunday.
Favourite film?
Fight Club.
Fight Club.
Ordered for pageant girl who is a teenager. Perfect fit and she looked beautiful! The color is great and the best part is the matching wrap and attached petticoat to make it flair.
