The Black Cloud

To say the last few weeks have been tough would be the understatement of the year.
As I mentioned in this post, I've been in the difficult position of not really being able to talk about what has happened, but also not feeling comfortable talking about my life as though everything was fine.
Those of you who have been reading my blog for the last few months know how much I loved my job.
Today I officially get made redundant.
The last few weeks have been absolutely awful, but I have to just hope that it was meant to be and that everything happens for a reason.
It's not been easy, but I just have to hope that things will get better.
Now I'm able to talk about it I'm hoping to be able to get back to regular posting again.
Thanks in advance for being awesome.

  1. I'm so sorry to hear about that. Another door opens when one closes, I know you'll come back better and stronger than before. Good luck in the job hunt, you'll find an awesome one soon enough! xx

  2. I'm so sorry about your job. I loved reading your posts about working for AO, but they can't have appreciated you enough if they made you redundant. I know being unemployed is horribly stressful, but I'm sure you'll soon find something that you love just as much as your last job. Until then, just take the time to really look after yourself - you're certainly worth it!

  5. Keep going lady. Redundancy sucks. I was made redundant from my first ever job and it was horrible. I was lucky that they gave me a months notice though, and I was allowed time out of work for interviews, but the feeling is awful. Hope your interviews go well this week :) x

  7. Temporary set back. Rough but you are so focused and driven on things that matter to you I just can't see this lasting long.

  8. So sorry to hear about your job. Interviews suck and finding a new job is hard. I'm just out of grad school in May and haven't found anything yet. Keeping busy and preoccupied with other stuff helps me when I'm feeling down about my life situation. It'll be okay eventually!

Also this outfit is super cute! I love that jacket and the zipper detailing on your trousers.
