I just want to start off by thanking all of you for your lovely messages and comments. The last few days have been so, so difficult. I've just been so distracted and angry and frustrated. The last few months have just been kinda rubbish, with my car crash, break up with Erick and then losing my Granddad, and I can't help being angry about everything. But I know I'll get past this and be okay. It's just hard right now to focus- I have two essays to write over Christmas, and of course, I had to tell Erick about what had happened, because we were dating when my Granddad first went into hospital over the Summer, and that has been really difficult. I just feel kinda lost and lonely right now. I don't think I've ever felt so confused about everything. I just really, really wish Christmas wasn't coming up. Everyone is so happy and excited and for the first time in my life, I'm not. It's not quite the same when someone says "Have a lovely Christmas" and you know you won't, and when instead of Christmas cards coming through the letter box, it's sympathy cards.

Anyway, as you can see, these photos were taken before I left uni. I wanted to take photos today but I just ended up in tears, and I knew it was a little soon yet. I'm working every day for the next few days, but I have loads of outfit favourite posts to put up before the New Year. Anyway, I've been doing a lot of layering dresses over shirts recently and I'd been wanting to try this leopard shirt under my mustard dress for ages. I have a few more outfits in this style, and I promise they'll be up soon.

Thanks for being amazing. You guys are the best.

  1. You totally have a right to feel like that! Things have been rough for you. It's tough to think positively sometimes but there is always sun after the storm, sometimes it just takes a while for the water to receed and the clouds to go away. *hug* I'm sending you loving thoughts, hope they reach you well!

  2. I am so so very sorry to hear about your grandad passing away. It's terrible to loose someone you care about, especially at this time of year. I hope you're doing okay
You look lovely in this look. I love seeing blouses layered under dresses, the colours of these two together are perfect as well.
