Vedette Shapewear: Day to Night

I apologise for the disparity in the colouring in these photos. I'm still having trouble editing my indoor photos as I have no idea how to work with the differing lighting from outside, but I'm working on it!

You might remember a few weeks ago I posted about the lovely shapewear sent to me from Vedette. Last time I did a very casual look, and this time Vedette asked me to style two looks with the shapewear- one for day, and one for night.

skirt- vintage
jacket- H&M
necklace- New Look
boots- New Look

For my day-time look, I chose a typically me kind of outfit- floral skirt, tights, boots and a leather jacket. I also kept my makeup minimal to make it really casual. I loved the black shapewear with the black tones in the skirt. This is the kind of outfit I live in in early fall.

skirt- Lavish Alice
blazer- H&M
heels- Dorothy Perkins
necklace- c/o Diamon Petal

For my nighttime look, I thought I'd try out the outfit I'm going to wear tomorrow for my friend Emily's birthday. I've only ever worn my sparkly skirt for a casual look, so I thought it would be fun to really dress it up for going out! The shapewear here was a perfect addition, and much more smooth than a tank top. I dressed it up with a blazer, tights and heels. I also added some more eyemakeup and a splash of red lips to contrast with the black and to reflect the red sequins in the skirt. I definitely don't feel like I'm wearing something that should be underneath my clothes- except for the fact that I am much more sucked-in than usual!

Fancy some shapewear yourself? Keep your eye out for a Vedette giveaway later on today!!

Let me know what you think of the outfits!
