The Styling Dutchman

Okay, I admit. I am a theif. I stole the idea for this outfit from one of my favourite bloggers, and blogging friends Annebeth of The Styling Dutchman. You might recognise this dress as my Birthday Dress from last week. After seeing Annebeth rocking a floral dress, white tights and black mary janes, I coulnd't wait to try it out myself! If you haven't checked out her blog, you really should. I actually spent a good half an hour today saving outfits of hers for inspiration. She has great style and I think if you like my blog, you'd definitely like hers!!

The gorgeous Annebeth- my inspiration for today's outfit.

One of my favourite thing about blogging is the blogging community. There are so many wonderful girls out there that I am so happy to have become friends with during my time as a blogger. I am constantly wowed and inspired by these girls, their outfits and their stories. I feeling as though I know each and every one of them personally. You are all a constant source of inspiration and happiness, thank you.

On a similar note, thank you so much for all your wonderful and lovely comments yesterday. I don't regret my decision to delete my Tumblr at all, because despite the positive aspects it brought, it wasn't worth the negativity. Thank you for reminding me to be happy and for all the wonderful things you said. It's kinda scary and exciting to be told that little ol' me has inspired some of you in the way you dress and to start a blog. That's kinda intimidating! But I suppose I'm just a regular girl, so if I can do this, any of you can! You guys are the reason I keep doing this, so thank you for all your continued support. I really do appreciate it. I'm sorry I suck quite often at replying to comments, but I have a plan to do it all soon (along with all my emails and facebook messages, arggh!!)

dress- Modcloth
shoes- New Look
cardigan- New Look

That's all from me! This might be my last update now until Monday because I'm going away for the weekend to the Twin Cities with my boyfriend, so have a lovely weekend and I'll see you next week!!

  4. That's such a charming little outfit. I love it when a cardigan is worn open like that with the belt cinching it at the waist, plus you couldn't have chosen a prettier dress and the flats lend a cool Alice in Wonderland vibe.
