There, enough I'm still in love with the false hope of us stabbed inside my chest
Wow, I've totally been MIA the last few days haven't I? Sorry about that- I promise, you haven't missed much. My weekend was pretty boring- except for the cinema with Beth on Saturday all I did was work. I worked Saturday and Sunday so I've been exhausted the last few days!! I'm also getting kinda overwhelmed with my workload which is a bit daunting. My disserations are really starting to scare me and I'm just struggle to deal with how much work I have to do. I know it's only week 2 and I really shouldn't be panicking but ARRRRGH!!
It's not all bad though. I'm going to see one of my favourite bands- Manchester Orchestra- tonight and I can't wait!! They always put on a great show and I'm really looking forward to it. We were talking about going out afterwards but we're all so tired. I haven't been out in two weeks!! I was really up for it earlier as a bit of respite from uni work and... well, worrying about uni work, but I have a feeling I'd get to the venue and just want to fall asleep!! We are going out on Friday for cocktails and probably to a club so I'm looking forward to that. I'm not all boring, you know!!
nude jacket- miss selfridge
brogues- new look
necklace- river island
I've been seeing a lot of nude and raspberry lately and I was really excited to try it. I have lots of nude stuff from last Summer so this was a great way to transition them into the new season. I've had this idea in my head for a while, but it's obviously been too warm the last few days!! I'm thinking of trying this pairing again by wearing my nude jacket with my maroon trousers, which have been sorely missed the last few days. I also love the colour of my nails with this dress- a kind of cornflower blue (okay, I can't say Cornflower blue without thinking of Fight Club). I have a cardigan this colour so I might have to try that with this nude dress. I apologise though, for the length of this dress. It is scandalously short. I don't remember it being this short when I bought it!!
Well, I'd better finish making my morrocan cous cous and get ready for the concert.
Have a great day everyone!!
