It's a Hoot!!

Yesterday, I was going to start a new weekly feature on my blog. I had really good intentions, I even started writing. But you know what? Sometimes you need a day off from blogging. I absolutely love my blog and I love blogging, but I needed a day to just... not blog. Not that I have much to say! Today I just wrote articles and went to dancing. Oh and went to the doctor because yesterday I was crying thinking I had diabetes. I do not have diabetes. Yay.

dress- c/o Matalan
boots- New Look
blazer- Primark
tights- ASOS

So Matalan sent me this dress a few weeks ago. I'd actually been eyeing it up for ages after seeing it in loads of magazines, so when they got in touch asking if I wanted one I was over the moon! It's so gorgeous in real life and I love the style. Perfect for autumn! One thing I will say though is that it does run very big. This is a size 8 and it fits more like a 12. I would definitely order a size or two down for a snug fit. I thought the blazer I added helped it from looking too big though and helped define my waist- I obviously couldn't belt it because of the drop waist!

I'm on owl-jewellery overload today. I bought this cute ring from Forever 21 when I was in San Francisco and I saw it today in my jewellery box (which is actually a shoe box) and thought I'd put it on. I don't wear a lot of jewellery, but I bought two rings off ebay a few days ago that I loved so I want to get used to wearing them. I tend to get bored and just take them off! I bought this Betsey Johnson Skull Ring and this adorable panda ring. Ooh speaking of pandas! Most of you already know this, but I love pandas. I have so much panda stuff! Anyway, I found out yesterday that my parents are taking me to Edinburgh over Christmas to see the pandas that they have just received from China! I can't believe I'm actually going to see a real-life panda!! I also can't wait to go to Edinburgh- I've heard it's gorgeous and have wanted to go for ages!

I'll be back tomorrow. Have a lovely evening, guys!!

  3. I adore this dress!! It looks amazing on you!! I was going to get that as one of my items from Matalan but then I chose something else which it turned out they couldn't get hold of =( I'm annoyed at them at the moment though because they keep forgetting about me haha!! They ask me if I want something and I tell them what I want, then they forget for like 3 weeks then tell me it's out of stock!! Never mind =D Maybe I should have just asked for this dress in the first place!! But you look far too amazing in it, I couldn't wear it now because you'd look so much better =D
Aaaah that's so exciting about Pandas!! Make sure to take loads of photos of them =)
