Two's Company

Welcome to day two of 30 for 30. I really wanted to wear something similar to yesterday, but I figured I should probably mix it up a bit and be creative in the first few days. These cropped jeans were kinda a wild card in my 30 for 30 items. I don't really wear jeans (however, I did do a week-long jeans challenge back in Februrary), but I really love cropped jeans. I think my issue with jeans is mainly down to the fact that I am incredibly pear-shaped and it's virtually impossible to find a pair of jeans that fit my huge hips and small waist. How Beyonce finds jeans I will never know.

Anyway, I don't think this outfit is really my usual style, but I guess that is part of the fun of 30 for 30!! This top is massively too big, but I can't give up on it. You can see my bra on some of these pictures, fail. These polka dot socks were one of the only things I bought yesterday that weren't in my "need" list, but I love buying new socks, and I thought they'd be fun with my Blowfish platforms. God I love these shoes!! I almost added a blazer too but it's been a really nice day today, so I thought I'd save the cropped-jeans-and-blazer look for another day.

Yes, that is my flouro pink bra.

Today has been a little stressful as it started at 4am with me waking up from a nightmare where Erick broke up with me. I may be 21 years old, but I still went into my parents' room in the middle of the night to tell them I'd had a nightmare. I then had to wait until Erick got up (which was the afternoon here) for him to reassure me that it was only a dream and he still loves me. I've also had a to-do list as long as my arm to complete today (8 more points to go!!) and I've had some stress with stuff back in Duluth to deal with. Plus, it's been my first day properly on my own so I've really missed Erick. He woke up to 4 Facebook messages. Absence makes the heart grow needy.

So that's all from me!! I might try and take some photos tomorrow, but I'm in Birmingham for Gradball from tomorrow til Friday so I won't be able to update til either Friday or Saturday, but I'm probably going to stick with my 30 for 30 pieces (partly because it'll easier to pack stuff then!!) so I'll just be gross and rewear the outfits and photograph them when I get back.

Have a great week :]]

  9. Love the polka dot socks with the wedges! Also, random question, but how tall are you? I love the look of the cropped jeans, but I'm so short that I'm afraid it won't work on me.
