I really wanted to give this dress another go as I wasn't 100% sure about my outfit on Saturday. I actually have another couple of remixing ideas which I'd like to try before sending it on to the other girls in The Lovely Ones. Today's outfit is much more me, don't you think?
As you can probably tell by the lack of photography skills, these were not taken by my lovely boyfriend, but just me alone with my tripod as usual. Sob. BUT the boyfriend has updated his Flickr now so you should go head over if you're interested in his photography. I'm hoping to drag him out again this week at some point. Seeing these photos made me realize how damn good at photography he is!! However, I was a naughty girl yesterday and caved and bought a portrait lens. I am done for camera stuff now. I am dedicating all my time to my camera book and not buying anything new for a really long time now!! I realised when I went onto Flickr that my only pictures are items for The Lovely Ones, so I'm going to get on that. I do occasionally post photos on Tumblr if you follow me there though.
Today was another epic fail day much like Friday. I went downtown to do another interview for my journalism story due tomorrow, and was really happy to have gotten everything done within 20 minutes. I headed to the bus stop and thought "fab, I see a bus!!", not even thinking, I jumped on. It took me about 5 minutes to realise I was on the wrong bus. I ended up riding it for 45 minutes before getting off at the same bus stop where I started. Le sigh. I then went to the supermarket to kill some time and fell over and cut my hand. Fail fail fail. Fortunately I am now in the library with my story first-drafted so I'm feeling a little better about my day. I think the bag of Sour Patch Kids (my favourites :]]]) helped too!!

That sucks that you got on the wrong bus, I've done that a few times. Sour Patch Kids would definitely make it better though!
LOVE IT. The dress looks so much cuter :)ReplyDelete
i love ur style!ReplyDelete
especially the mixture of leopard and leather <3
Wow - you seem to have the coolest tights. :D Love the printed tights + leather boots and jacket!ReplyDelete
I'm so jealous you bought a portrait lens! haha lucky girl! When you take pictures of stuff, try using manual focus because I've found they come out way better than just using auto focus. :) Read your manual when you get it because it seriously helps a ton!! All you really need to focus on is aperture, shutter speed, and white balance, and the rest is pretty easy from there. :) I can't wait to see your pictures with your new lens!ReplyDelete
And I love this dress! It looks so cozy.
well i absolutely love the tights. Oh and I started following you on tumblrReplyDelete
Those gray leopard tights are incredible!ReplyDelete
Sorry to hear about the bus debacle... I do stuff like that pretty regularly, but it still never ceases to surprise me when it happens.
love the dress! you look so edgy w/ the leather jacket, the leopard print tights cute & and i love love love! your boots :) xo!ReplyDelete
What a fabulous look! Totally following u now girl!ReplyDelete
Love the dress remixed as a skirt. It's great that your boyfriend takes pictures that you like. Mine is bossy and doesn't get that "outfit pics" aren't about his artistic expression. I fired him a while back, and am much happier alone with my tripod.ReplyDelete
I love this outfit especially the stockings!!ReplyDelete
yea, i love this look on you! so edgy with the jacket and the leopard tights :)ReplyDelete
ooh, I LOVE, LOVE this outfit. I love how you styled the dress, so fab with the tights and those booties are fabulous. And how exciting that you bought a portrait lens ...I adore mine and shoot with it ALL the time, it's amazing. xx veronikaReplyDelete
