untitled

There are a lot of reasons why I don't like these pictures.
One- my hair is a mess. I need to buy new straighteners pronto and I need to book a hair appointment- I have my sights set on next Friday after a long week of assignment deadlines and midterms.
Two- As much as I love wearing jumpers over skirts, my skirts tend to be a little sticky-outty and therefore putting a jumper over the top makes me look about 4 inches wider than I am, which doesn't help when...
Three- This jumper is a bit big. Sorry, Mum, I know you told me to try it on and let you know, but I forgot. I promise I'll still wear it.
I took over 100 photos and these are the only ones I didn't hate. I just look a bit... lumpy.
I think this is a bit of a hazard at this time of year. It's difficult to keep warm without looking like you're storing fat for the winter.

I do love this jumper. My mum bought it for me (after a few very subtle hints) and sent in the first box of things that arrived for me. It's SO warm. This outfit went through many, many revisions this morning before I settled on this, and even this I'm not too sure about.

I'm a little less stressed today. I planned on doing my journalism assignment today but after speaking to my teacher I realised the event I had chosen to cover wasn't quite right, so I'm going to get my feminism essay started tonight and work on my journalism assignment on Friday, by which point my feminism and Shakspeare essays should be done, because of Saturday I'm FINALLY going to Mall of America!! Thanks to Whitney for this. She is amazing!! Her mission in life seems to be to ensure that I'm doing okay, and she is lovely :]]] I'm so excited for some much-needed retail therapy!!

I have some kind-of-very-exciting blog news but I think I will wait until it's all confirmed to announce it, but those of you who have me on Facebook will know what I'm talking about. It's kinda a big deal and I'm excited!!

 skirt- primark
 socks- river island
 shoes- target
 aviator jacket- river island

I wish I had more to say, but my life is pretty boring right now. I hope yours is more exciting!!
