there, enough, I'm still in love with the false hope of us stabbed inside my chest.

Dear Photos Taken Outside,
Please stop being so good because I'm not sure my health can take it much longer. Maybe you could contact Photos Taken Inside and show them a few tricks, I'd really appreciate it.
Love, Charlotte xxx

You may notice a few specks on these photos. That is actual genuine snow. It's getting far too cold for me to handle here. I need thicker socks, warmer gloves and way, way more layers. I am just not used to this at all. After taking these photos my hands were so cold I had to run them under the hot tap and then they hurt so much I was almost crying from the cold. Even last night when we went to the parade I was wearing gloves, two pairs of socks, a vest top, a long sleeved top, a jumper, a scarf, a hat and my fur coat and we were still so cold we couldn't stay and wait for Santa!! It was fun though, I had such a good time :]] Then we went to Olive Garden when I nearly died of a carb-induced coma. Mmmm carbs.

As you can see, my new dress arrived. I really, really love it even though it probably wasn't the best purchase for November in Minnesota. It's not exactly warm and the neckline and fit makes it difficult to layer under it to much. I may have to be creative and layer over it lots. But there is still the bare chest issue. Oh well, I'm sure I'll wear it loads in Spring!! This cardigan isn't very warm either, but my Mum is sending me a thicker red cardigan this week- yay :]]

Oooh exciting things to report. First of all, Michelle, one of our lovely clothes swappers has written me a great response to my question of dressing for Thanksgiving when you're not American!! It was really helpful- thank you!! I have no idea what to wear for Thanksgiving. I want to dress up but I'm not sure if everyone else is so I'll have to check in with Kait and her Mum on this. Oooh I can't wait for Thanksgiving just to have a chill out for a few days!! I have an essay due in on Monday and then a proposal for my next Shakespeare paper due on Tuesday and then I have my journalism feature story to work on. Oh and all my fashion writing!! Good job I love to be busy, eh?

Secondly, we have another swap up!! I sent Elizabeth my stripey skirt (which I wore here) and she had styled it up fabulously on her blog!! I can't wait to see what else she comes up with!! This swap is so much fun. I'm definitely going to send a few more things out this week- I can't wait!!

Oh and in other exciting news, for me anyway, I'm going to grow my hair. I'm thinking Series 3 Jenny Humphrey. Kind of messy and long and a bit wavy, and, wait for it, I'm going to dye out my pink. I know, it's a big decision and it kinda makes me sad, but it's so easy to get used to having your hair a certain way and I for one hate change, but I've had my hair like this since I was 16 and I'm 20 now so it needs a change. I'm going to try to grow it until my birthday and probably get my pink bleached blonde around the time I go to New York. I reckon it'll be long enough by then. I might keep some black underneath, definitely in my fringe for a while. I'm excited. I want it to get growing now!!

Well I'm off to go work on my essay and then Lindsey is picking me up and we're going to go do homework at Michelle's work and have lots of lovely hot drinks!! I hope by this time tomorrow my Godfather essay is well on its way!!

Don't forget to enter my giveaway if you haven't already!! There's still a few days still to enter :]]]

Have a lovely weekend!!

I can't believe you're growing your hair, didn't you just get it cut? Change is good though :-)

  4. I know just what you mean! We don't yet have to snow, but thinking back to last year when it was full white outs and I was trying to take pictures, I was frozen in 2 seconds! Yikes.

All of this red looks fabulous on you! It really pops against your hair and the snow-y scene.

I actually found your blog yesterday when Elizabeth posted about wearing your skirt! Your style is awesome. I'm kind of weird and went through some of your old archives. Is there a moment when you don't good look?! haha

  8. Just stumbled on your blog! I've gotta ask: WHERE DO YOU LIVE? Dang! It's SNOWY. It snowed for a few minutes a few days ago, and I sighed "Ohhh, Canada" thinking the momentary snow was ridiculous. BUT MAN YOU HAVE A REAL PARTY OF SNOW!

It actually looks amazing! This pictures are beautiful :)

  15. i would appreciate photos outside speaking to photos inside as well. We havent gotten snow yet but its already getting quite cold and photos outside are getting difficult.
Love this look especially the red cardigan. I am actually trying to grow my hair out as well, its such a pain but worth it. I think a longer do will suit you although I like your hair now too. Whoa this is getting long :)
